SYNOPSIS
Based on the 1987 Diane Keaton movie of the same name, Baby Boom was the story of J.C. Wiatt, the picture of Yuppism - a stylish, single, Harvard-educated lawyer pushing her way up the executive ladder at a large corporation whose nickname was "The Tiger Lady." Then on her doorstep appeared Elizabeth, left to her by a recently deceased English relative. J.C.'s high-powered career was thrown into turmoil. She tried hard to juggle the demands of instant motherhood and career, but could never seem to decide which life she wanted.
Other cast members included: Mr. Curtis, her demanding boss (played by Sam Wanamaker who also starred in the movie version) who seemed oblivious to her situation; secretary Charlotte; Arlene, a fellow lawyer and young assistant Ken, who was constantly trying to get her job. Helga was the fearsome nanny who took care of Elizabeth when J.C. was at work.
Flashbacks of J.C. were seen as a career-obsessed child and as a teenager.
