SYNOPSIS

This summer variety show marked the return to a regular network series of Dave Garroway after a nine-year absence. He introduced performances by a wide range of young entertainers, all new to network television, who had been discovered in nightclubs and theaters during the previous year. None of them, alas, went on to become a major star.
