SYNOPSIS

Michael Alden was not his real name. It was the name he used because he had suffered almost total amnesia after having been dumped off a freighter in New York harbor by someone trying to kill him. The only clue he could remember was that he had been mumbling the words "Coronet Blue" when the police fished him from the water. In his attempt to ascertain his identity, Alden was befriended by a monk named Anthony and a coffee-shop owner named Max Spier. Danger and intrigue were the keynotes of this summer series as the unknown villains who had dumped Alden into the river pursued him to finish the job. Coronet Blue never made it to a full season's run and no conclusion was ever filmed, so Alden - and the viewer's - never did find out the meaning of those mysterious words.
