SYNOPSIS
Dagmar,
the statuesque, well-endowed blonde made famous on Jerry Lester's Broadway
Open House, starred in this late-night live variety show as the hostess
of a real canteen for servicemen. She interviewed, sang songs, and dance, but the
most amusing part of the show was her weekly reading of one of her original plays
(similar the the hilarious "poetry readings" on Broadway Open House).
Roles in the plays were also read by servicemen
chosen from the audience, as well as by the other cast members. One of the
regulars was Dagmar's sister Jeanne, who was the assistant hostess.
