Monty Python star Eric Idle starred in this ghostly, Topper-esque situation comedy which came on and went off the NBC schedule like a fleeting ghost itself!

Grant Pritchard was a snobbish English Professor who, along with his wife Claire, was killed in a car accident. As if that weren't enough, they were then forced to watch while plumbing contractor Mike Dooley, his wife Liz and their obnoxious son Derek moved into their elegant home and proceeded to "re-do" the entire place.

The irritable Professor had only one contact in the living world. Unfortunately, he was only able to communicate with the Dooley's Grandpa, Jack, an old crotchety man who gave him a hard time.
