SYNOPSIS

After years of living platonically with two female roommates and chasing after a bounty of beautiful women, Jack Tripper finally found true love. He had fallen for a pert flight attendant name Vicky Bradford, much to the chagrin of her very rich and straight-laced father, James.

When Jack's roommates moved out, Jack decided it was time to get married. Unfortunately, Vicky did not agree - her parents' marriage had been rocky to say the least and ended in divorce. She preferred that her and Jack live together. Jack had hesitations, but they moved into an apartment over Jack's Bistro, the restaurant he now owned.

In an effort to break the Jack and Vicky up, James bought the building thus becoming their landlord, 10% owner of the restaurant and constant surprise visitor at the most inopportune times.

Other cast members included: Jack's eccentric assistant chef and resident beach bum, E.Z. Taylor and Claudia, Vicky's mother.

Adapted from the British series, Robin's Nest, Three's  A Crowd was a spin-off from the long-running hit series Three's Company and ABC aired reruns of Three's A Crowd on weekday mornings from September 1985 - January 1986.
