SYNOPSIS
Rumpled, paunchy filmmaker Michael Moore produced and hosted this hilarious spoof on TV newsmagazines. TV Guide called it "The Mad Magazine of news shows."
The show was much like his famous documentary Roger and Me, in which Moore pursued General Motors chairman Roger Smith seeking answers about a plant closing - answers of which he never got. The show was one-sided, humorous and always from the little guy's point of view.
Stories included: Moore's challenge to corporate CEO's to personally service the products they sell - the head of IBM declined to format a disk, but the president of the Ford Motor Company did change his oil!; happy dogs on Prozac; Moore's running campaign to get a willing New York mayor Rudolph Guiliani to provide him with parking spaces and stronger water pressure in his shower; how workers could get back at their bosses with creative sabotage and going door-to-door with Avon ladies in the Amazon.
