SYNOPSIS

Fess Parker had spent six successful seasons in the role of the legendary Daniel Boone in the late 60's. CBS brought back a younger version of the Kentucky woodsman in the fall of 1977.

In his mid-20's, and not yet married, Daniel did his exploring with Peter Dawes, a 12-year-old English kid, Hawk, a runaway slave, and a Cherokee Indian named Tsiskwa. Waiting for him to settle down was his sweetheart, Rebecca.

Young Dan'l Boone lasted only 4 weeks, three in its original Monday time slot and a fourth and final episode on Tuesday, October 4th.
