Shania was born January 2nd, 1998 with a left-sided cleft lip/ cleft palate, she was hospitalized 2/27/98 - 3/4/98 for rsv. (respiratory syncytial virus)
lip repair 4/20/98 and palate repair with p.e. tubes 11/30/98,
p.e. tubes 2001,
pharyngeal flap surgery oct 14-17th, 2002 and dental surgery for insertion of retainer and had 4 teeth pulled and spacers put in end of 2005 and wore a retainer to prepare for the bone graft for about 6 months. Shanias bone graft surgery was June 19th, 2006. Shania has adhd, motor tics. She has myopia creep which makes her vision 20/400 uncorrected and 20/40 corrected and we hope it wont turn into pathological myopia. Shania likes to sing and dance and she is a awesome dancer to rap music. She loves to swim and loves her horse star and spending time with him. Shania likes to play softball.
