Crafts These are a breif summary of many of the crafts on Pern; I know that I don't have them all yet, but I'm trying.  Thanks! Archivist- A branch of the harper craft, Archivists gather data on, well, anything and everything!  They are like the scribes or journalists of Pern.  No info found in Anne's Books. Artist- Info Coming.  For Anne's Info, read Red Star Rising or Dragonseye DolphinCraft- The caring for and healing of dolphins.  Dolphineers bond with a dolphin the way that they would a dragon; Dolphineers cannot Impress.  For more info, read Dolphins of Pern DragonHealerCraft- Must I say anything?  The name basically sums it up.  The caring for of dragons. Farmcraft- Basically, any cothold is in the farm craft, although Apprentices usually learn more about soil, fertilizer, and crop rotations than they would learn at home.  Anne McCaffrey provides no more information in her books, atleast the ones that I've read. FisherCraft- Alot like the SeaCraft, Fishers are excelled in one thing, and please don't say that you haven't figured it out yet! HerderCraft- The caring for and healing of heardbeasts, runners, and many other types of Pernese animals, excluding firelizards and dragons. Return to Ailsmar's Weyr
