Regrets and Dragon Flirts Back "Jiasath, I'm still not sure about this," Kessa said as she stepped into her Jr. Weyrwoman's weyr at Tarizal Weyr. "Wouldn't of we of been better off just staying at Dragon Soul? I mean, come on, it's not like it was bad or anything." Tarizal is what I want, Jiasath replied lazily, curling up on the oversized weyrledge as Kessa investigated her own weyr further. She examined each new item with a childish curiosity, which was well put, as she was only 16 Turns. "Shardit, Jiasath, this is as good as a real WeyrWoman's quarters!" she exclaimed softly. "Wow. That's pretty neat." Jiasath began to doze off, and Kessa continued to make comments to herself about differant things in the weyr. She might of continued for ages if there had not been a rushing of wings, and Jiasath scooted over to allow a tiny dragon, about the size of Jiasath herself, but with wings twice the size of a bronze's, to land. Co'l and his silver Scaroth are here. They were ones from Morning Star who bonded recently; Scaroth's still not fully comfortable with Co'l. Kessa nodded inperceptably. Scaroth had been sure that his rider was coming back to him, up until whenever Co'l showed up and the two bonded. She knew that Scaroth was still waiting for his first Impressor to return to him, though. Co'l stepped inside the weyr, and Kessa fought hard not to turn red. He was a Seaman, no doubt about that. Or had been before he bonded with Scaroth. His wild brown hair hung in a tangled mess down to about halfway down his back, and a clean white tunic opened to expose the front of his chest. Yes, he was handsome. "Hi," he said, holding out his hand for Kessa to shake. "I'm Co'l, if Scaroth didn't already relay that to Jiasath." Kessa took his hand, noting that he had a rather hard handshake, and she did her best to equal it. "I was just going to stop by and see if everything was okay. Seharia's appointed me as kind of a welcome comitee. She figures that Scaroth might have some trouble flying Thread, because his wingspan is so wide." I would not! Scaroth said, loudly enough for Kessa to flinch, as well as Co'l. I can fight Thread just as good as any of them, and not in the queen's wing, either! Co'l chuckled at that. "T'kel offered to put me in Bruetam after Seharia gave him a hard time about him wanting to put us in a regular wing. Scaroth, of course, would rather do anything than that. He pretty much had a fit." Kessa found herself without anything to say, and she realized that it was making Co'l a bit antsy, as well. "I think that I'll go ahead and go; Scaroth says that Felathith wants to see me." He rolled his eyes. "Great joy." As the silver-rider left the weyr, Jiasath made a quick comment to Scaroth, purely to annoy Kessa. You can come back any time! she said loudly, causing a chuckle from Co'l on the weyrledge and a groan from Kessa inside. |
