Baths and Lakes

That feels so good, The little blue weyrling sighed as T'mal scratched the base of his wing.  Very, very good.

"Good, silly," T'mal chuckled, splashing the blue slightly with water from the lake.  "C'm on, let's go wash you off," He said, giving the blue's eyeridge a quick scratch as he turned back to the lake.

Giardeth swam deftly through the water, while T'mal waded with some difficulty.  He'd never been much good at keeping his balance, and usually fell at least twice every time that he brought Giardeth out with the other weyrlings.

Suddenly, the blue's tail snaked around T'mal's, legs, and swept him off of his feet onto the muddy bottom of the lake.  A cloud of mud swirled around the young weyrling rider's feet, and he sat up, wiping the water out of his eyes.  "Whaddya go and do that for?" He asked Giardeth, who chuckled slightly.

You were going to take a bath anyways, so I figured that I might as well help, Giardeth said innocently.
