V'kam gave a nervous grin to the weyrlingmaster as he pulled himself up onto Brabazoth's klah-colored back, and buckled into the riding leathers. "Okay, Baz, let's go," He whispered to the brown, and felt his lifemate's powerful muscles surge beneath him, lifting him up and into the air.
This is where we should be all the time! V'kam thought as Brabazoth banked to the right slowly, and began to spiral around.
Yes! I love it up here, with just you and me! Brabazoth replied, and let out a yelp as a green weyrling spun out of control and into his side.
Suddenly, V'kam felt himself surrounded by darkness. He couldn't feel or see anything, except for the bitter cold. I am here, Brabazoth reassured him, and the first place that V'kam thought of was his home at the Weaver-craft hall.
Suddenly, he and Brabazoth burst from between and he looked down to see the Weaver-craft hall. "Baz, what happened?"
The green bumped into me and I was thrown off. We would of fallen if I hadn't done that, The brown said, full of confidence.
V'kam sighed deeply, then remembered what the weyrlingmaster had said about going between. Groaning, he realized that he was most likely going to be on midden's duty for a month.
STATS
Age: Weyrling
Physical Description: Hasn't grown as fast as his clutchmates, and is now rivaled in size by his blue brothers. Has lidded eyes that make him look sleepy all the time, even when he's working.
Personality: Anxious to become larger, and would love to be as large as the only bronze in his clutch. However, that seems unlikely. Thinks that he's the best brown in the world, because V'kam has told him that.
Abilities: After his first trip between, which was unplanned, Brabazoth now loves to duck between during rope drills, which gets V'kam in more trouble that you could imagine. His endurance is awful, his agility better than most browns, and his betweening ability very good. V'kam has tried to see if he could pick out Candidates, but so far it hasn't happened.
