THE   BARKER   BROTHERS
Together the Barker Brothers have been playing music and entertaining people in bars, clubs, school dances in  street fairs and concerts for years. There first band  { THE STAFF } with guitar player Reggie Stanley in there hometown in upstate New York was there first attempt to focus on a creative direction in the music industry at an early age. Then teaming up with David { Wild } Waffle and Fred Steenrod  they formed  { THE UNPLANNED ELUSION BAND } in there hometown area during there school years. Then 3 years later for a 3 year stint after being apart for 3 years  they joined the band { THE COUNTY LINE }  a 3 piece country rock variety band with lead singer  and lead/rythem guitar player Gary Cross also in there hometown area. Then life took it's course again, they put  there old band  back together with David { Wild } Waffle and Fred Steenrod  and formed the { MADE IN U.S.A. BAND } in San Diego, California then moved to Hollywood, California where they were then signed by an independent label and production company { MIR RECORDS }  -  {  MUSIC INDUSTRIES INC. }  The band along with  there management geared up for recording there first album with several releases  planned and a world tour. The music was considered western city rock and with 3 songwriters in the band there was never any lack of material. But fate rared it's head again and the group disbanded over creative differences leaving eveyone to go there seporate ways. The Barker Brothers then took some much needed time off  to reevaluate there musical direction. They again played seporately in several bands for the next few years after that. So as it has gone, threw there ups and downs of life The Barker Brothers have finally reunited to form there own band playing there own brand of original music.  They opened a benefit concert for { SOUTH 65 } along with  2 local radio stations { KHWG and KBUL } both of Reno in the summer of 1999 in Fallon, Nevada. They played the  Nevada State Fair in Reno and have done countless other benefit, clubs and even played at a few public awareness gatherings for the local school. Entertaining as they do either alone or together they never loose sight of the fact that it's all about the love of the songs, the music and always having fun. So who knows what the future holds next for this musical duo !!!!
