The French had no national final this year.They just had a special tv show that announced the song that will represent them in the ESC 2002,just like last year.

The singer of the French entry will be Sabine François who isn't very popular in France.I myself have done internet searches on the singer and nothing has come up about her.Sabine will bw singing a ballad this year(i'm not surprised after their placing last year) and lets hope it's as good as France 2001.
