The Brachios isn't the fastest zoid around, but one has to admit that for its size and shape it isn't too bad. For it's level, it is quite well-armored, with relatively thick armor plating covering most of its body and legs, and it can take quite a beating without losing any functions. It also comes with a decent 80mm beam cannon that can aim itself just about anywhere except underneath the zoid, and it can conceal itself into the back of the Brachios when not in use to eliminate it as a potential target. In each shoulder is a red crystal-like solar generator, which provide the Brachios with extra power. As if those weren't enough features for you, the Brachios is very capable of handling water and swamp terrains - it can wade around like nobody's business, and its long neck allows it to function as a periscope. It should also be noted that the cockpit for the Brachios is in its back, behind its neck.
As good as the Brachios sounds, it isn't without its drawbacks. First of all, its design leaves it lacking in maneuverability. Also, its neck isn't as well armored as the rest of the Brachios, and because of the height of the neck it's a more open target. Still, with it's wide array of guns, tough armor, and various abilities, its a good, solid Zoid.
Weapons:
Dual 20mm Beam Cannons
Embedded at the base of the neck, at the top of the chest, is a pair of 20mm beam cannons. These semi-automatic weapons are well hidden and nigh-impossible to shoot off. They are locked in a forward-facing position.
Impact Cannon
Located smack-dab in the center of the chest is a single-barreled impact cannon. It fires high-density shells that explode on impact. It's even semi-automatic. The barrel isn't very long, however, so it rapidly loses power and accuracy beyond 200 meters. However, it's still quite powerful, able to quickly strip a targeted Zoid of its armor with only a few hits. Unfortunately, it is locked in a forward-facing position.
80mm Anti-Aircraft Beam Cannon
Located in the back of the Brachios is an 80mm beam cannon. The cannon is almost omni-directional; it can face any direction except underneath the zoid. The cannon fires energy beams at a rate just above semi-automatic and is quite useful against aerial Zoids as well. The cannon is covered by a hatch when not in use, so it's very well-protected.

More technically wading, the Brachios is one of the few Zoids that is capable of moving underwater just as easily as it can move on land. It is capable of moving at a full 60 knots underwater.
