Name: Godos Alignment: Republican Registration Number: RZ-014 Height: 8.2 Meters Length: 8.6 Meters Weight: 23 Tons Top Speed: 150 Kilometers per Hour Weapons: Six 20mm Cannons, Gripper Claws Special Abilities: None The Godos is the smallest member of a large family of Zoids, including the Aro Saurer and all the Gojulas brothers. Also the Republican equivilent to the Iguan Zoid, the Godos is a basic tyrannosaurus type Zoid used primarily for front line combat. Like most small Zoids, the Godos isn't very well-armored; mainly, only the arms and legs have any real armor, but the unarmored sections of the Godos are fairly small, and thus aren't easy to hit. While it's modeled in an upright stance, like the Gojulas, it also has excellent balance due to its tail, and thus is capable of a maneuvering fairly well. Weapons: Twin Dual 20mm Beam Cannons: The Godos has two pairs of beam cannons. One cannon rests on either hip, and the other two are mounted on the tail, to either side. That second pair is capable of pivoting upwards, while the first is fixed. Anyway, they fire at a semi-automatic rate. Dual AA 20mm Flak Cannons: Fixed to the Godos's back, pointing almost straight upwards, are a pair of cannons. Ordinarily, they'd be practically useless to the Godos, except that they're loaded with flak ammunition, designed to burst apart into a cloud of shrapnel with a timed fuse, making them perfect to use against aerial targets (thus the AA designation). Gripper Claws: These were designed to grab an object and hold onto it, allowing the Godos to move it out of the way. Unfortunately, the Godos's arms are really too short and stubby for these to see much use in battle. Still, they have their uses; just not very many. |
