The Green Cinema exterior, St Stephens Green, Dublin.
The Green cinema dated from 1934/35 and was by Jones & Kelly. Demolished in the 1980's for a commercial development. The cinema was roughly where Planet Hollywood is now located (now that too is closed!) and, as the cinema was offset from the street, the art deco auditorium with 1,496 seats was reached by way of a long foyer.
