On this corner of Royal Avenue, the main shopping street of downtown Belfast, diagonally across from the Bank of Ireland, lives this fine deco style shop, originally Sinclairs. It is an external remodelling of an earlier building by the same architect. The clock seems to be out of order and it is no longer in use as a shop. According to advertisments of the period the cast iron building front is by Walter Macfarlane & Co of Glasgow.
