We like to remind Ma and Pa that Eeyore & Me are playful Basenji's by getting into all kinds of trouble.  We have trained Ma & Pa to buy us lots of chew toys, fluffy toys and rawhide chews (although we arn't allowed to chew rawhide unless we are supervised).  We get lots of stuff to keep us from getting too bored.  But I was still able to make a list of things that we've damaged & destroyed.  Hope I haven't missed anything. - Chewed up blankets, towels and throw carpets - De-fluffed toys and pulling out "squeakers" out of some of our toys - Binocular case - Pens & pencils (it looks neat when pens leak onto the carpet) - Q-Tips (we love these) - Mini-blinds - Toilet paper (we unroll toilet paper and decorate the house) - Magazines & books - Underwear & socks (however, nobody leaves them out anymore) - Dustbuster (Eeyore was scared of it so I tried to wreck it) - Furrari kennel (I don't like being in there so I chewed on it and pulled the wires loose) - Large and small wire kennels (I didn't like these either) - Digging the foam in Ma & Pa's bed - Basenji Mum bought some buffalo snow for her Christmas decorating because she loves snow...so Eeyore and I thought we would help and we shredded the snow fluff all over the living room.  It looked just like a big snowfall happened in the house.   You should have heard the noise that basenji mum made..she almost sounded like us barooooing - We are digging up the couch, it isn't wrecked yet. The blanket Ma uses on the couch to protect it...is nearly ripped from me digging.  Eeyore dosen't dig too much yet, but I'm teaching him.

Words we Can say

Seeing that we don't bark, we have learned to say a few words.  Here is a little list of what we have learned so far (we can swear too, but I better not repeat those bad words). - oh go                                 - oh no - Go                                     - Go out - Out                                    - Oh well - Oh                                     - Meow (Eeyore does this very well) - Walk                                  - Aaack (as in yucky) - Ride                                   - Grr (this word is self explanitory) - noodle                                - No! - yaahooo                             - guy - Bry and Bryan                    - Don and Donna - Pa                                       - Ma - Eeyore                                - Roo and Roogrr - Mum's here!                           and best of all...love you!

Favourite Things

Roo's favourite things:  sunbathing, soaking up the heat from the heat register and the fireplace, hanging out on the top of the Lazy boy rocker, protecting Eeyore from the vacuum snake Dislikes: getting wet, having baths, cold snow and that horrible travel kennel Roo's favourite song:  Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon....ahhhrroooooo A perfect job for Roo would be:  either a dentist, investigator or a magician

Eeyore's favourite things:  sunbathing, laying by a hot fireplace, food of any type including peas  and brocolli, snuggling in the travel kennel, chasing the neighbours cat. Dislikes: the vacuum snake monster, small yappy dogs and other boy dogs. A perfect job for Eeyore would be:  either a CSI agent, dentist or a professional clown.
