Gohan is half saiyan, half human. He could of been the most powerful person in the universe.  Unfortunely he never reached his full potential.  If he did he would be stronger than his father.  He started out as a cry baby because his mother was too overprotective of him. Piccolo taught him to control his power when he was only six years old.  Gohan went ot Planet Namek to revive Piccolo after being killed by Nappa. Gohan respects Piccolo very much.  He even calls him Mr. Piccolo. Gohan becomes very powerful depending on how angry he gets.  Gohan was the very first to become SSJ2. Even though Gohan becomes very powerful he never had the love of fighting as his father did.
