If you find that bass are schooling, and you have
already caught enough little ones that you want, try this for a bigger
bass: Tie on an unweighted soft jerkbait or some other type of slow
falling bait, and throw it into the middle of the school of shad.
Now just let it drift down through them. Most of the larger bass hang
out under the young, smaller bass and wait for dying shad to
drift down for an easy meal. You won't always catch one this way, but
if you try it right before you are about to head in each time you are
done fishing a school, you might just catch the fish of a lifetime!
