Local officials, TNI to hold meeting discussing Jihad Bomb Force
Pontianak, West Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - The West Kalimantan administration
held an unscheduled meeting with Indonesian Defence Force (TNI) officers and related
institutions to discuss a Jihad Bomb Force (PBJ) of the province ready to go to the
Middle East to wage a war against Israel.
"We have held the meeting and ask its presence to be studied further by their
respective intelligence units," Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan Laurensius
Herman Kadir said here Monday.
He denied that the administration`s authorities did not know that the front held a roll
call in front of the Alam Bhanawanawae military command on Jalan Rahadi Oesman
in Pontianak last Saturday.
"Such a force can also be found in other parts of Indonesia," Kadir said.
PBJ has issued a statement they will carry out their bombing actions not only in
Palestine and Lebanon but also against the US and Israeli allies.
Around 200 PBJ volunteers from West Kalimantan had expressed readiness to be
dispatched to Palestine and Lebannon to carry out their actions to paralyze Israeli
vital infrastrcuture if Israel failed to abide by the 4 x 24 hours ultimatum.
He further said that the statement will harm the people of West Kalimantan because
others would think that the province had been used for training in how to build a bomb.
According to him, the statement is emotional because they can not refrain
themselves from being too emotionally influenced by the brutal attacks by Israeli
military against civilians in Lebanon and Palestine. (*)
