Ambon gets new police chief
AMBON, Maluku: New Ambon and Lease Islands Police Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Trilulus
Raharjo expressed his commitment to providing security in this conflict-torn city.
"I replaced former chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Leonidas Braksan on June 19 (Monday). My
priority is to ensure security in Maluku province's capital city," he told Antara.
He said he would continue programs introduced by Leonidas, who is now as! signed
as chief of Tanjung Balai Karimun Police in Riau Island.
"Ambon city has attracted investors and tourists, so there is a need to ensure
security," he said. -- JP
