I began transcribing my Viet Nam Journal around October 2000.  I was working at my own pace until I was "found" one day by Steve Stickley via a search engine over the Internet.  He sent me a simple e-mail that said, "Were you a Marine? Thank you for your time" to which I responded, "Yes, were you?"

After that, Steve and I corresponded a few times until we realized we had both served in the same outfit, Echo Battery, 2/9, 3rd Marines, together in Viet Nam.

Through Steve, I made contact with Jerry West, after 33 years.

In this pursuit, I have happened across several good Marine Sites, as well as personal sites these and other Marines I served with have told me about.  I have pasted their URLs here so you can too access their information, if you like.

Please sign my guest book below, and / or email me direct by clicking here.  I hope you enjoyed reading my Journal and will share some of your own stories with me about your efforts in the war.
