Some Swam, Some Waded and Some Read Letters Jerry in the river

We walked to mountain stream and played ALL DAY in cool water. I sat in waterfall – like a whirlpool bath.

The Old Swimmin Hole  Wheeeeee!

We sat in that night and patrol saw "Gooks." Fired! No results.

0730 – Jerry and I met with "Grunts" and we marched out for BN area where 14 helicopters awaited us. Flew us out to Operation Sheawnee.

Here, I will sum up 8 days of Operation.

On 13 May, 2 days before we were to get on ships, Pilsner 6 (Lt. Col. Peeler) called all companies and said, "Okinawa has been postponed ‘till 1 June." Oh, Phoey!

Wednesday, 17 May ’67

Golf Company was the first to reach end of Operation. Got on tracks to Chinook.
