US renews travel warning, citing possible retaliatory attacks
The United States has cited the possibility of retaliatory attacks for the war in Iraq, as
it renewed its existing terrorism-related warning for Indonesia.
The State Department advised all Americans to consider leaving the country, saying
the conflict in Iraq would be likely to inflame anger in Indonesia.
The statement echoed concerns first raised by the US and British embassies in
Jakarta on Thursday and Friday.
