Prayer Request: Rev. Damanik's case goes on trial in Palu

Dear Friends,
Rev. Rinaldy Damanik's case has finally gone to trial today in Palu, Central Sulawesi.
Soon after Palu police authorities transported him last month from a Jakarta jail to a
Palu jail, he was poisoned. Let us join our hearts together with others as we all pray
for Rev. Damanik's trial.
As Christians we are taught that Government and authority was established by God
with a duty to create no fear nor terror for its righteous people, rather to provide peace
for those who do good. At the same time we are called to fear God and speak the
truth in love.
Pray that Rev. Damanik will speak the truth in love and that his legal team, Johnson
Panjaitan, Jan Binela, and Andi, will glorify God in this defense of an innocent man.
We will post you with updates as trial progresses.
Sincerely,
Ann Buwalda and Kie-eng Go
