Batch 3: The End of the Course.Once we got our grades, we all went to a bar across the street for Sangria and tapas. A lot of us ended up staying there for about four hours, and even had a charming run-in with a addled young Spaniard who, when I asked him to leave us alone, swore profusely at me and then hurled his lit cigarette at Emma (pictured below). Unfortunately, I didn't think to take his picture while he was doing that.
Me with Jennie and Laura. Both British. No, it's true!
Magdalena on the left (Polish) and Debra on the right (Kiwi).
Andrew, my flatmate; Magda again; and Oli, another Brit.
Emma, one of our helpers, also from Britain; and Jill, from California.
Emma and Jill joined by Adriana, from Portugal.
The next night, we went to the Magic Fountain at Montjuic, a whole big series of fountains with lights under them. Every 15 minutes or so, music plays and there's a corresponding light show. Hard to describe how cool it is, really.
Marianne, seen here with me and above with Adriana. British.
Obligatory photo of the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí's master work which he died before completing. It's still being worked on, looks like.
