Kyack

CANADIAN CH. ROEBUCK'S KYACK

SEPT.27 1992 - OCT.6 2006

I held him when he came into this world
and I held him when he left.

Ky was a sweet mischievious puppy, but grew into

a beautiful intelligent boy who was my constant companion.

he was a true Elkhound that loved agility, but it had to be his way.

Rest in Peace Kyber.

LOKI

ROEBUCK'S LOKI

March 27-l994 - February 21- 2007

My name is Edna-May and this is the the story
of my beloved Norwegian Elkhound Loki
From the time I was a child Ihave always had a dog.
In 1994 just before my husband retired
he said we were getting a Norwegian Elkhound.
I had never heard of them.
After doing some research we found our breeder Marj Workman
After a few phone conversations she said there would be puppies in the spring
Easter Sunday Marj phoned two puppies boy &girl
the girl had been spoken for sooo I said thanks but sorry I wanted a girl.
Norm told me to get back on the phone this was his dog
and he wanted the boy!!!
Lucky Igot back to Marj in time
and that is how our precious Loki came into our lives.
Soon after we got Loki Norm went back east for 2 mos. to work.
Loki became my dog.we walked every day and he became very protective of me.
he went everywhere with us including 3 trips across Canada.
As time went on we noticed his back legs were getting weaker
the vet put him on supplements for arthitis then
shots then Feb 21 2007 his back failed him.
his hip dislocated and we knew that awful moment had come.
Loki went to the RainbowBridge that morning.
I miss him terribly but he is no longer in pain.
we had him creamated so he is still close.
Marj Norm & I have remained friends.
Rest in Peace Sweet Boy
