• A. The pilot overstated his qualifications (announced 11/11/02).
• B. The pilot was suffering from sleep deprivation (announced 11/24/02).
• C. Wellstone was ahead by 9 percentage points 11 days before the election.

The Bush Administration was told by the Clinton team - who met one time a week - as opposed to Bush's ignoring their advice and meeting only one time AFTER 9/11/01 - to make terrorism a top priority. Bush ignored this problem for his political gain (he was slipping in the polls), as well as for money for his defense buddies.

On C-SPAN one night between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., I saw two people whose spouses were killed on 9/11/01. They had a lot of questions about the CIA's, the FBI's, and the airlines' failures to prevent the attacks. They said these groups all had the information, but many of the people who worked for the CIA, FBI, and the airlines were told to BACK OFF. The guy at the FBI who told the agents to back off, got promoted! Nixon's head of the CIA, Richard Helms (who recently died), also was told to back off during the Watergate investigation. Helms didn't, and Nixon fired him for refusing to do so.

HOW STUPID ARE YOU PEOPLE?

Look! Bush, a born-again Christian, stole the election by having minority people blocked from voting or having their votes thrown out. In one county in Florida, a big Jewish population supposedly voted for Pat Buchanan due to the confusing "butterfly" ballot. How convenient! But, the military votes from overseas were counted even though the dates on these ballots were postmarked past the legal date!

I don't know about you, but I don't think I can take two more years of Bush's totally obscene, self-serving, undemocratic, and unconstitutional behavior!

Don't any of you remember the fabricated Gulf of Tonkin incident that led to the Vietnam War? Or Watergate?

P.S. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is going to 5500 according to what I've heard and read. Put your money under the mattress and/or buy commodities (gold and oil...)

Due to the weak U.S. dollar, foreigners are expected to continue to bail-out of U.S. stocks (like many Americans already have). How's that for confidence in Bush's economic policies and leadership?

And if you think things are getting better, you're nuts! Last winter (2002), I bought CISCO at $14 and sold it at $17. (It's now $13.44!) I bought Microsoft at $59 and sold it at $70. (It's now $54!)

By the way, Albert Gore, Jr. got 500,000 more votes than Mr. G. W. Bush in the popular vote election. He should be our president! How convenient that Jeb could help his brother win in Florida with all his "dirty tricks"!

I had two relatives who slept in coats with hats on before going to bed at night because they turned their heat down to 50 degrees. They were both millionaires. One wouldn't buy food, and one spent his whole day at shopping centers or friends' houses enjoying free heat. They both ate lavishly at friends' homes all the time. They both wound up rich but utterly alone.

One is in a nursing home now - using all of her life's savings to pay for it. She has dementia. The other died of cancer and was too cheap to leave his money to the people who cared for him the most because it would have cost him too much to change his will!

They were both Republicans. They both hated Clinton. yet they both made tons of money in the market due to Clinton's economic policies - not Reagan's or Bush, Sr's or Nixon's!

The disconnect is how can Republicans who make lots of money when Democrats are in bitch about Democrats? They both loved Republican presidents, but Republican presidents cost them both more in the end!

One of them was a Christian. She felt abortion was wrong. One of them thought Clinton was immoral because of sex. But they didn't give a damn about the poor people in this country. They were rich. One's parents left him tons of stocks and a home he lived in rent-free his whole life. He got free rides from everyone till he was 50 and finally got his own car. The other one wouldn't have survived if her brother hadn't let her practice law with him.

I guess what I'm saying is those who are blessed with rich parents' money or their siblings' help have no clue what the average or poor person in America has to do to survive - especially minorities.

Oh, well, it just goes to show money can't make you happy! And it also goes to show that people with money who obsess over every nicckel are sick. They have more than enough and only have disdain for those way less better-off than themselves.

I thought Jesus said, "How you treat the least of me is how you treat me."

Be very leery of the religious right or "born-again" Christians like Bush! He just doesn't get it! What a hypocrite!!!

I just saw today:

1. A former NASA engineer warned Bush to halt all shuttle flights on safety concerns. He pleaded with Bush that lives would be lost (just like the FBI agent warned his superiors that lives would be lost on 9/11)! For what possible reason would Bush and the FBI ignore warnings that lives would be lost?
2. NASA fired 5 advisors last year after they warned about Columbia's safety concerns (See the pattern here?)
3. Northrop Grummann and Boeing - two of Bush's biggest contributors - may have to speed-up redesign for the space shuttle replacement.

"NY Senator (D) seeks probe into soaring gas prices. A few hours after announcement of probe, fuel barge 'accidentally' explodes at Exxon storage facility, Staten Island, New York..."

I saw today:

1. 7 a.m.: NY Senator Charles Schumer (Democrat) is seeking probe into soaring gas prices.
2. 10:59 a.m.: an "accidental" explosion/fire occurred on a barge at the Exxon Fuel Storage Transfer Facility, Staten Island, New York. The explosion occurred when a barge, containing 100,000 barrels of unleaded gasoline, was being offloaded. An Exxon spokesperson said this facility also holds gasoline and heating oil.
3. 11 a. m.: Gas prices will go higher in New York as a result of this accident!
4. HELL-O?

Look who (big surprise) gains from questionable, convenient civil strife in Nigeria, Venezuela (which cuts off oil supplies and causes oil prices to soar), and from a prolonged, illegitimate war in Iraq:

Why do Bush aides want Ahmed Chalabi, a wealthy, American-educated, exiled Iraqi leader and BANKER (who quite conveniently just recently arrived in the south of Iraq), who was convicted of embezzlement in Jordan, but who left in 1989 before his trial, who in the mid-1990s helped lead an aborted plot, sponsored by the CIA, to overthrow Saddam, and who has since then been hopping between London and Washington, DC to lead an interim Iraqi authority (despite denials from Rumsfeld that the Pentagon is backing him for a top role in postwar Iraq)?
   
2. How many years did you Americans have to pay for King George's brother and banker, Neil Bush's, ripoff of your assets due to his brilliantly engineered 1980's Savings and Loan Scandal with the help of "brothers" Keating and Warner?
   
3. Do you still think this war on Iraq is really about WMDs, creating a viable democracy there, or eliminating Saddam because he threatened the USA's security?

I think not and seriously advise you to follow how the Bushes are, once again, stealing your money to fatten their and their buddies' coffers!

China won't "play nice" with "King" George about North Korea. Plus, China had the best economic growth in the world last year with a GDP (Gross Domestic Product) Growth Rate of 8%. In January 2003, China had a growth rate of 9.9%. Now, their growth rate has been pared from 7.6% to 6.5% due to the SARS scare.

Given that the USA's projected GDP Growth Rate for 2003 has been lowered to a pathetic 2.3% (job losses under GW Bush are killing this country), China had, prior to SARS, provided a great alternative for investors.

2. Canada

Remember the foreign minister who called Bush an "idiot" and was forced to resign? Plus, Canada has a very strong natural resources economy. Natural resources will be in great demand for the next few years. Now, due to SARS there, Canada's economic growth forecast has been pared from 3% to 2.5%.

"King" George and his administration's excuses about everything remind me of Johnny who, when I taught, wore me out with his excuses for not having his daily homework assignments. I could have just slapped him silly but, of course, I didn't. Here are a few of his "gems":

Me: "Johnny, why didn't you do your homework?"

1. "My Mom washed it by mistake. I forgot to take it out of my jeans' pocket."
2. "My locker partner took my book by mistake, and it was in there."
3. "My dog ate it."
4. "My baby sister ripped it up."
5. "My Mom must have mailed it in with the phone bill by accident because it was on the table with her bills."
6. "Oh, we had to go the hospital last night. My grandma almost died!

7. "I really hurt my wrist last night when Dad and I were throwing a few."
8. "The power went out last night. I couldn't see because we didn't have any candles. Mom made me go to bed because she said the power could be off all night, and I really needed to get my sleep."
9. "My boss at Kroger's called me in to work a sick guy's shift. He couldn't get anybody else to work it."
10. "Oh, I know you won't believe this (RIGHT!), but honest, extra-terrestrials came into my room last night and took my book and notebook, I guess, for a study they're doing about our educational system."

Coming soon to a theater near you in November, 2004, I'm sure will be good genius Neil Bush's surefire way to get "King" George re-elected ("W's" plummeting approval ratings necessitated this drastic measure...):Electronic Election Machines conveniently mandated for use in the 2004 election (what are these going to cost you, especially since the old ones still work? Duh?) With Republican-controlled software programmed to delete any/all votes that aren't for Bush!

Call your Congressman (202-224-3121) and insist there be a paper-trail-backup-record of votes cast! Otherwise, if you think you're going broke now, I guarantee you after four more years of "King" George, the majority of Americans will be!

Care to take a guess what the already record federal budget deficit will be by then, or what percentage of the interest on it you and your children (and possibly even your grandchildren) will be paying?

Future generations of average Americans should not be saddled with paying for "King" George's obscene giveaways (tax cuts) to himself and to his rich (top 1%) friends and for his allocation of your hard-earned money on wars, nation building, and defense, instead of for grave domestic concerns: Social Security, Medicare, health care, pensions, college education, job creation, desperately needed aid to the states, and homeland security

P.S. Don't blame your state governors for your state tax increases. Blame "King" George, who only gave 20 billion dollars to the states (and only 29 billion dollars for homeland security) while he and his rich buddies got trillions in tax cuts!

P.P.S. And don't blame Gray Davis for California's huge budget deficit; blame Kenneth Lay (Bush's buddy) and Enron who ripped California off!
