Homer Cat

Here is Mr Homer. Homer was a cat we had found hiding out in our garage i think back in 1997? I had went out to the garage to feed Rastis, who was my husbands aunts cat, and i kept hearing a little kitten meow. Wel,, Rastis kept making sure that where ever that meow came from, i wouldn't find it. But, all of a sudden, a little kitten with this little head a great big ears popped out. Well, Rastis kept trying to hide the kitten, it was like he was afraid he would get in trouble for bringing him home. We honostly believe that Homer is the son of Rastis, they look exactly alike. Well, a short time later, Rastis took his dayly stroll, and he never came back home. I think he went somewhere and died of old age. But, he left us precious little Homer. We had found Homer a new home at one time, but the people returned him after a while because they ended up homeless. They wanted to come back and get him after they found another home, but by time they came back to get Homie, we fell in love with him, and his little nose nubbins he gives. Homer unfortanatly got hit by a vechicle one day, and it broke his tail. He's alive and fine now, but his little tail is limp, and just hangs there. He also has a little bed wetting problem, but he can't help it. He has however trained himself to sleep on a towel or a blanket while he's inside, and he loves to be held and loved. Homie don't like to stay inside for very long though, just enough to eat, grab a quick nap, then he's outside to hunt again. He's a wonderful cat, and i love him very much, and am glad he's here.

It's kinda of hard to described how Homer got his name. My husbands Aunt Phyllis had a cat named Rastis at one time, which we believe is Homer's dad. Anyways, Phyllis said that her brother Larry (my husbands dad) always wanted to call Rastis, Homer. But, Phyllis once new someone named Homer, and she didn't like him. Or something like that. So, we kinda named Homer because of Phyllis, and Larry.
