In Surf's Up, Proud, it all start out when Husky and Proud were taking a nice stroll by the beach. Husky's plans are to kick back and enjoy, but Proud is a little nervous. Then, all of a sudden, Proud and Husky come face-to-face with Skip, the surfing Chihuahua.
Husky just cracked up. He could not believe that a chihuahua can surf. But he was wrong. Skip puts in some smooth moves as he shows Husky his great surfing techniques. He then also introduces Miranda, his team mate . Automaticly, Husky is in love with Miranda. Skip and Husky start talking, while Husky is congradulating Skip.
In the meantime, Proud isn't so thrilled about what's going on. He wants to appear at learst once in the story. "When can I speek?!" asks Proud egerly. Husky won't let Proud, and so Proud starts going nuts. And then, Husky gets the idea of competing against Skip.
Once the compatition begins, Husky isn't doing so well. But Skip is surfin' like nobody's buisness. Then, Miranda has an idea. We'll form teams. Then, everbody is going surfing.
After a while Husky is starting to get the hang of surfing. But poor Proud is not. He starts being wobbly at first, but then, all of a sudden, Proud crashes into the sea. With that sudden startlement, everbody pulls into the shore. But ther's a problem. Tiny Proud can't swim and he helplessly passles for help. Everbody is secreming and trying to save him. But soon, it was all over and Proud sank beneath the sea.
Husky starts weeping and crying because the loss of his best friend. Husky is sorry that he had been so harsh on Proud.
The next morning, Husky sets out to the harbor and releases a bouque of flowers in memory of his tean mate, Proud. As he walks away, he sees somthing on the shore. Proud!
Despretly, Husky rushes over to the unconcious Proud and trys to rescue him. Proud GuRgLeS some
water and wakes up shouting "I am alive!"
Then, all of a sudden, Skip rushes into the scene. Skip had found Proud in the water; brething; and he brought him to the shore.
Everybody is now surfing to celebrate. Miranda got Proud a board with special straps so he won't fall off. Then everybody gives their best surfing tips.
At the end of the story, Skip and Miranda leave Florida for California in search of greater surfing oppertunities. Everbody waves goodbye. It was an exciting time, and there was lots of fun.
