My K11 and K12 students are inviting students from all corners of the world to participate in a magazine online we want to publish with the contributions you may wish to share. These could could include information about your hometown, your school, something connected to local culture (like music, food, festivals, celebrations, etc) and a couple local news. The idea is to prepare an issue every two months. Feedback from our partners, which can be done via email, will also play a major role.
Week 1: introducing ourselves (names, age, nationality, likes, hobbies, pets, family)
Week 2: our school (our classroom, teachers, breaks, lunch, sport, uniform, etc.)
Week 3: a typical day in our lives (what time we get up, what we have for breakfast, how we get to school, what we do when we come back from school, what time we have supper, what time we go to bed, favourite TV programs, etc.)
Week 4: food and drink, the different types of food we eat on different occasions (with whom? Where? When? Recipes welcome!)
Week 5: weekend activities, having fun with friends.
Week 6: calendar of interesting dates: the dates and days of the year that mean the most to us.
Week 7: local folklore: characters, music, crafts.
Week 8: visit us! An imaginary tour of our area designed for visitors from our pair school.
