Pay Time
Everybody sing along, you know the song, it's Disclaimer time!. Ahem. Okay, I shouldn't write these when I'm feeling silly.
Highlander, most of the guys, the concept of Immortality, etc etc etc ain't mine. Most of it belongs to those guys that make Highlander (yeah, I see you over there! Look, the head stays on!). Richie is swimming in the River Denial. All that stuff with the headstone is just a cover so he can hang out on holy ground with legions of adoring women who let him have sex on a regular basis. Indeed who have to work out a rota system so everyone gets their fair share. Which is why I have him getting shared in this one, to save time... no, really...
This is the one with the three optional slash interludes (Richie/Methos, Methos/MacLeod, Richie/Methos/MacLeod). It works fine as a story without them, although the fact that Richie and Methos are rather more than friends is pretty central to the plot. So, when it gets to the bits where guys end up in bed together, there is the usual 'next' link, but that does not lead to the ADULT bits, those are through the link 'ADULT bit, don't read if it ain't legal'. I reckon you should read the story once then go back and read the adult bits, that is one reason why I have listed them separately where I list the different parts of the Sword and Circle series. The other reason is if you don't want to believe the stuff with Mac happens, feel free to disregard it entirely. I don't currently reckon on referencing it in any future work. Mind you, Richie and Mac's little holiday was meant to be separate from Sword and Circle, as was Rest In Peace, and they both worked their way into this and future stories.
So, this story is maybe 15 rated, as are the Highlander videos I have seen over here, unless you are like philosophically opposed to the whole idea of two guys being totally in love. If that is the case, skip this entirely. In fact, give up on any part of the series with Methos present, the guys can't keep their hands off each other, and that relationship is one of the key factors in the evolving story line (Yup, there is one. Got it all planned out and timelined with a corpse counter and everything).
Do not bother flaming me. Love is.
Other stuff includes the usual head chopping violence. And I would suggest that you only read this when you've got all the parts.
