Pineapple-Nut Cheese Ball
Pineapple-Nut Cheese Ball
- 2 packages (8 oz. ea.) cream cheese
- 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- parsley
- assorted crackers
Instructions:
Soften cream cheese and drain pineapple. Beat cream cheese until
smooth; combine with pineapple, cherries, 1 cup chopped nuts, green
pepper, onion seasoned salt and seasoned pepper. Blend thoroughly and
chill. Shape into a ball; roll in remaining chopped nuts (I usually
use more nuts & I make mine finely chopped). Refrigerate or freeze
until needed. Garnish with parsley. Serve with crackers.
