Spicy Shrimp Cocktail
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic -- minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped green bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped green olives
- 1 8-ounce can Contadina® Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 pound cooked shrimp -- chilled
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in small skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, onion, sweet pepper and olives; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
2. Stir in tomato sauce and red pepper flakes. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; chill 2 hours.
3. Combine shrimp with sauce in medium bowl, just before serving.
