Praline Caramel Cheesecake
CRUST:
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (16 squares)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup melted butter
FILLING:
- 3 (8-oz.) packages softened cream cheese
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
GLAZE:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- broken pecans
Instructions:
Make graham cracker crust in springform pan using the graham cracker crumbs, pecans and butter.
Beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, eggs (added one at a time), whipping cream and vanilla on medium speed of electric mixture until smooth. Pour into crust. Bake at 450 degreens for 10
minutes. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and bake for 65-75 minutes, no longer than 75 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes. Remove outer ring, cool completely. Meanwhile, over medium heat cook together the
browwn sugar and butter, stirring till thick and smooth. Pour over cheesecake and sprinkle with broken pecans.
