Holly Berry Cookies
Holly Berry Cookies
- 1/2 pound (1 cup) Butter or Margarine (Do Not use
spreads)
- 48 Large Marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon Green Food Coloring
- 5 Cups Corn Flakes
- Cinnamon Red-Hots
Instructions:
Put Butter and Marshmallows into top of double boiler (over hot, not
boiling water). Let melt slowly. (If you don't have a double boiler,
you can use direct Very Low heat, and stir constantly). Stir in
Vanilla and Food Coloring. Pour over Corn Flakes, and toss gently to
coat. Drop by spoonfuls on to waxed paper. Quickly place 3 Cinnamon
Red-Hots on each cookie (will look like Holly Leaves and Berries!) Let
dry for 24 hours. Store loosely covered with waxed paper between
layers.
