Sand Tarts
Sand Tarts
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 4-5 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder *
Instructions:
After combining ingredients wrap and refrigerate dough for at least an hour. (Can be left over night before using.) Roll out dough to 1/8 inch and cut with your favorite cookie cutters. Rub or brush tops with egg and add decorative sugar, sprinkles, etc. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes (lightly brown).
NOTE:* If using "Double action" baking powder, use 1/2 the amount.
