Snickerdoodles
    
Snickerdoodles
- 1 cup shortening
 - 1 1/2 cups sugar
 - 2 eggs
 - 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
 - 2  teaspon cream of tarter
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - pinch of salt
 - 2 tablespoons sugar
 - 2 tablespoons cinnamon
 
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F. Mix first 7 ingredients; shape dough
into 1 inch balls. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons
cinnamon in small bowl; roll balls in mixture.  Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes. These cookies puff rather than flatten.
