Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

• 1 Cup shortening
• 1 Cup sugar
• 1 Cup brown sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 Cup sour cream
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 6 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add egg, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and roll out desired thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake about 14 minutes at 375 degrees F. Let cool.
Note: DO NOT GREASE COOKIE SHEETS!!
