Saucy Beef Over Rice
- 1 Large cooking bag (14" x 20")
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 can (14-1/2oz) stewed tomatoes
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 LB beef sirloin steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 cups hot cooked rice
Instructions:
Preheat over to 350F
Shake flour in oven bag, place in 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Add undrained tomatoes, soup mix, water,and pepper to bag. Squeeze bag to
blend ingredients. Add beef strips to bag. Turn bag to coat beef with sauce.
Arrange ingredients in an even layer.
Close bag with tie, cut 6 1/2" slits on top.
Bake until beef is tender, 40-45 min. Serve over hot rice.
Makes 4 servings
