Chili Rellenos
- 1 can whole green chilies
- 1 stick mozzarella string cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
Remove chilies from can. Drain. Cut string cheese into thirds. Stuff cheese into each of the 3 chilies. Mix egg and milk. Add dash of salt and pepper. Dip cheese stuffed chilies into the flour - then egg and milk mixture - then back into the flour. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Sprinkle grated cheese on top as soon as you remove from the hot oil. I also serve picante sauce on mine.
