Mom's Hot Sauce
- 1 large can whole tomatoes (18 3/4 oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
- 2 large cloves garlic, crushed
- 4 Tablespoons oil
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 3/4 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped or 1 tablespoon dry cilantro
Instructions:
Process tomatoes through a food processor. Add all of the ingredients. Put into a boiler and bring to a full boil. Cool and pour into a jar..refrigerate 24 hours before eating
NOTE: To have a different Taste, Eliminate 1/2 teaspoon pepper and add 3 or 4 seeded, deveined and chopped fresh jalapeno peppers.
