Broccoli Almondine
- 2 lbs fresh broccoli
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 green onions, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the broccoli in boiling water. Drain and keep warm. Heat the butter until melted. Add the green onions and almonds and stir over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and serve.
