Green Beans Almondine
- 1 can (14.5 oz) chicken broth
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/8 teaspoons black pepper
Instructions:
In a large skillet, bring the chicken broth to a boil over high heat. Add the green beans and return to a boil and cook until beans are tender-crisp. Drain the beans and set aside. Melt the butter in the hot skillet, add the almonds and pepper and saute over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until the almonds are golden. Add the green beans and toss to coat well; serve immediately.
