Gethsemane
All those who journey,
soon or late,
Must pass within
the garden's gate;
Must kneel alone
in darkness there,
And battle with
some fierce despair.
God pity those
who cannot say:
"Not mine but
thine"; who only pray:
"Let this cup
pass", and cannot see,
The purpose in
Gethsemane.
"Gethsemane"
I don't think
we really understand
what actually went
on in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Nor do we understand
what was laid upon
our Lord's shoulders
on Calvary.
I often ask myself,
Why would Jesus take
on all of our sins?
Especially since
we continue to hurt Him
over and over again.
Why did He pray until
the blood
dripped from His
face?
Why did He choose
to die upon the cross,
in order to take
sinful man's place?
And why does He continue
to
cover our sins until
this present day?
And why does He always
seem
to make a way out
of no way?
He's always there
when we are hurting,
and He knows just
what to say.
And when we are in
trouble,
He is never far away?
We will never understand
what happened
in the Garden of
Gethsemane until we see His face.
And I know for sure
that we will never be
able to understand
His Amazing Grace.

Have you
been to the Garden?
Have you had a "Garden"
experience?
Please go and
meet Jesus...He's
waiting for you
now.
and your life
will never be the same again.
You'll feel the
wonderful peace that comes
through
His great love
for us. Please do not
delay...accept
Him today! He's waiting now to
make intercession
for you.
MY DAILY PRAYER
Lord, help me through
the lonely hours
to believe the
sun will rise,
and that dawn
will come on silent feet
Before my trusting
eyes.
Help me through
the troubled hours
to feel Your presence
near,
To realize the
storm will pass
and that the skies
will clear.
Help me through
the hours of doubt
To keep Your faith
and trust,
And give me strength
to know Your will
To do the best
I must ...
Then help me through
the shining hours
So I'll be mindful
of,
The fact that
all Life's finest things
Are mine through
your great love for me.
And may I always be mindful of
the Garden of Gethsemane.
