2008: Once again assigned to Class AAA Norfolk....began season in the bullpen before making a spot start 5/1 and joining rotation 5/14....turned in back-to-back six-inning scoreless outings 6/3 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and 6/8 at Richmond....named International League Pitcher of the Week for June 2-8. 2007: Called up to Orioles 3/24 for final games of Spring Training exhibition schedule....Assigned to Class AAA Norfolk for start of minor league regular season....also pitched for Aguilas Cibaenas during winter ball in Dominican Republic. 2006: Pitched in seven games for Orioles during Major League Spring Training....once again assigned to Class AAA Ottawa to begin regular season....did not allow an earned run in 10 April relief appearances....also did not allow an earned run in 12 outings during August....picked up only win of the season 8/22 vs. Pawtucket. 2005: Moved up to Class AAA Ottawa (International League) and went 8-0 out of the Lynx bullpen....also pitched for Peoria Javelinas of Arizona Fall League making a league-leading 17 appearances in relief. 2004: Promoted to Class AA Bowie (Eastern League)....was 4th in the Eastern League with 54 appearances....Held opponents to a .209 average....Did not allow a run over his final seven appearances of the season (13.IP), while surrendering only three hits during that time. 2003: Assigned to Class A Frederick...led Carolina League and set franchise record with 60 appearances in relief....surrendered seven runs in 1.2 innings in his first two outings of the year, then posted a 2.82 ERA the remainder of the season....turned in nine straight scoreless outings, 5/26-6/10, covering 10.1 innings....Went 2-1 with a 1.53 ERA in June....Did not allow a run over his final eight appearances (11.2 IP), including four scoreless innings on 8/17 vs. Kinston. 2002: Joined Class A Delmarva (South Atlantic League) 6/13....made season debut 6/20....Held opponents to a .219 batting average. 2001: Lone senior on Tech pitching staff....picked up win in relief 2/21 at Georgia....notched save retiring final two batters 3/16 vs. Kent....picked up second save by tossing 3.2 innings of no-hit and scoreless relief along with five strikeouts 4/1 at Virginia....signed free agent contract with Baltimore Orioles 6/18 and assigned to Gulf Coast League affiliate where he saw action primarily in relief along with duty as DH, outfielder, and third baseman. 2000: Sidewinder who was the Yellow Jackets' short relief specialist....Threw five scoreless innings in the ACC Tournament, including two in each of the Jackets' games on the final day of play, and registered a save in the ACC Championship game against Clemson....Second on the club with five saves....Posted a perfect 4-0 record in 2000, while improving to 7-1 for his career with five saves....Recorded five consecutive scoreless outings during the middle of the season, picking up a win and two saves in games against Eastern Kentucky, Charleston Southern, N.C. State, Maryland and The Citadel....Recorded a critical save on April 29 against Clemson, shutting out the Tigers over the last 1.2 innings as the Yellow Jackets claimed a 9-7 win....Picked up a win at Georgia on Mar. 14, allowing one run in three innings as the Yellow Jackets rallied for an 8-5 win in 11 innings....Picked up a win against UNC-Greensboro on Feb. 27, shutting out the Spartans over the last 2.1 innings as Tech won 8-7....Held the opposition to one run or less in 21 of 27 appearances, including 15 shutout performances....Also went 2-for-4 as a hitter....played during summer for the Atlanta Crackers of the Atlanta Stan Musial League. 1999: Changed his delivery to a sidearm motion....saw action both on the mound and in the infield for the Yellow Jackets, but his role as a pitcher became important in the final week of the regular season....Saw only 4.2 innings of work on the mound through the first 10 weeks of the season, mostly in mop-up duty....Earned the first three wins of his Tech career in the Yellow Jackets' last seven regular season games....Picked up his first career victory against Georgia Southern on May 8 pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless relief....Worked his longest stint of his career while picking up his second win of the season at Mercer on May 11, going 6.1 innings out of the bullpen....Got the third win May 16 with three scoreless innings (one hit) against North Carolina....Suffered his first loss of the season, however, in the ACC Tournament against Florida State (three innings, four runs, three earned)....Did not allowed an earned run in 9.2 innings of work against ACC foes (10 strikeouts) during the regular season....Hit his first career home run on Mar. 2 against Charleston Southern, his only hit in four at-bats during the season....ACC Tournament: two appearances, 0-1, 6.23 ERA. 1998 Two-way player who pitched and played third base for the Yellow Jackets....Did not record a decision in any of his eight outings....Struck out five against S.E.
