The Mystery of Rhyming Rock goes back a long time. First, you must understand that Fraggles love telling jokes and riddles to each other. They even set aside a whole day for it called "Joke Day." The best riddlers try their hand at solving the Rhyming Rock riddle. The riddle changes daily, and once you've guessed three times without solving the riddle, you are not allowed to try ever again. You can see why only the best riddlers try this.
Gobo Fraggle and his riddle coach Wembly decided that Gobo was a good enough riddler to try and solve the riddle.
After a try at solving that days riddle, Gobo heard a story (from me of course) about how his Uncle, Traveling Matt, had created a spell that would help you solve any riddle.
However, he didn't hear the ending and rushed off to finally solve the riddle. When he tried, poor Wembly got stuck in the rocks that came falling down. The spell had not worked. Gobo rushed back to see me and figure out what went wrong.
He found out that the spell only works on riddles. Rhyming Rock was not giving out a riddle, it was providing instructions to sing a song. Gobo sang the song, and Wembly was released from the rocks. Although the Rock does not speak anymore, it sprouted beautiful flowers, and music plays all of the time.
